Dahal concedes under-performance in 1st premiership

KATHMANDU: CPN Maoist Centre Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal has admitted that he could not perform on a par with people's aspirations due to inadequate experience when he took the prime ministerial berth for the first time.

"There was a dearth of experience while bracing open and competitive politics as the first prime minister after Nepal was declared republic. As I came from war background, it took a longer time to get along with peace," Chairperson Dahal said this, addressing a programme organised here.

At the function, Nepali Congress Central Working Committee member Ram Sharan Mahat and CPN-UML leader Lal Babu Pandit had also spoken at the function.
