Rajendra Mahato's wish list for PM's India visit

KATHMANDU: Sadbhawana Party Chairman Rajendra Mahato urged Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal to include various issues on agenda of his India visit scheduled for next week.

Mahato met PM Dahal at the latter's official residence in Baluwatar on Friday and requested the PM to focus on the need of improvement in political and diplomatic relations between Nepal and India.

Likewise, he submitted a memorandum to the Prime Minister and suggested that he include skills development programmes for Madhesi youth, Tarai-Madhes Postal Highway, Kathmandu-Tarai fast track, Nijgadh  International Airport, East-West Railway among others on his agenda, the PM's Secretariat informed in a statement today.

During the meeting, PM Dahal assured the government would implement the suggestions which would benefit for the country and the people, the statement informed.

Meanwhile, Dahal also said that his upcoming India visit would be focused on mutual interests and improvement of relations between the two countries.
