KATHMANDU: Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Democratic (RPP-D) Chairman Pashupati Shumsher Rana is going to offer Dashain Tika to his party's leaders, cadres as well as well wishers on Vijaya Dashami the tenth day Bada Dashain festival today from his residence — Bijaya Niwas — at Maharajgunj in Kathmandu.

This is the first time leader Rana is going to offer Tika to leaders and cadres and the members of public, said RPP-D central member Rajaram Shrestha.

Meanwhile, Unified Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Rastrabadi (URPP-R) Chairman Dr Prakash Chandra Lohani has extended Bijaya Dashami's greeting and wished happiness, peace and prosperity to all the Nepalis home and abroad.

Today marks the tenth day of Bada Dashain on which the junior members of the family receive Tika and Jamara and blessings from elders of the family and relatives.

The auspicious hour for offering and receiving Tika for today is at 11:55 am, according to the Nepal Calendar Determination Committee.
