KATHMANDU: Focus should be given to improve the quality of education by making the university education research oriented.

Most of the speakers in a programme organised to mark the 41st founding day of the Tribhuvan University (TU), Public Administration Campus in the Capital on Tuesday opined for the same.

Minister for Defence Bhimsen Das Pradhan has opined for practical implementation of the education and health rights as they were guaranteed as fundamental rights in the constitution. He stressed on increasing budget in these sectors.

Similarly, Tribhuvan University Vice Chancellor Tirtha Khaniya also focused on research based education as per the present demand.

Campus Chief Haribhakta Shahi said that the importance of the public administration lies in every discipline and institutions, therefore public administration campus should be expanded to each province.
