Restaurant workers’ hand in Nanglo guard’s killing: Police

Police today said two restaurant workers have been found involved in yesterday’s murder of Ram Bahadur Dangi, a security guard at the Nanglo Restaurant. A police official at the Valley Crime Investigation Branch, Hanumandhoka, said a gang comprising two workers of the restaurant and two to three others were involved in Dangi’s murder and looting of over Rs 300,000 from the restaurant. “The group first tied Dangi up and took out the cash from the drawer. Later, they stabbed him to death when they felt that Dangi might have recognised them.” However, the official didn’t disclose the names of the accused as they are still at large and the police are searching for them.
