KATHMANDU: A man was critically injured after a scooter he was riding on hit a parked truck in Tinkune of Kathmandu on Friday.

The injured has been identified as scooter rider Roshan Moktan (26) of Hiledevi, Ramechhap.

The two-wheeler (Ba 70 Pa 2350) hit the truck (Lu 1 Kha 7567) at around 2:45 am today.

Moktan is being treated at the Sinamangal-based Kathmandu Medical College.

Police said that they have impounded both the vehicles and arrested the truck driver for further investigation.
