Dr Minendra Rijal of NC-D on Saturday criticised the NC’s attitude in Friday’s meeting, claiming that it would weaken the possibility of unification of the two NCs. “By ignoring us deliberately in the meeting with the Maoists, the NC has clearly indicated what kind of unification it wants,” he said at a programme at the Reporters’ Club. He criticised the “big parties” like NC and CPN-UML, calling them the “main hurdles in the way of a political solution.”
