Rizal meets PM Koirala

Kathmandu:

Bhutanese refugee leader Tek Nath Rizal on Sunday met Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala at the latter’s office to discuss the present condition of the Bhutanese refugees.

“The PM assured that Nepal’s stand has been and will be to help the Bhutanese refugees to go back to their country and participate in the election being held in Bhutan,” Rizal said. He also said that the Government of Nepal has given permission to those refugees who wanted to go abroad and the PM thinks that those remaining should have right to go back to their country. The meeting between Rizal the PM lasted for about 30 minutes.
