Robotics competition concludes

Kathmandu, June 25

Khwopa Engineering College, Bhaktapur won the winner trophy of robotics competition organised by the Centre for Applied Research and Development under the Institute of Engineering, Pulchowk today.

“Engineering students participating in the competition demonstrated how robots can be used to carry salt and communication devices from the plains to hilly and mountainous areas,” said Arun Timalsina, deputy director and program coordinator of CARD.

The contest held in Nepal Army Sports and Physical Training Centre, Lalitpur drew more than 500 visitors. There were altogether nine participant teams from various colleges.

Along with the winner, first runner-up team of Purbanchal Engineering Campus, Dharan and second runner-up team of Advanced College of Engineering and Management, Kupandole will get an opportunity to visit International Robotics Competition to be held in Bangkok in August.
