Kathmandu, June 13:

The seven-member committee of the Rastriya Prajatantra party (RPP) that is investigating and verifying the authenticity of the 527 signatories, will convene tomorrow. Bhuwan Pathak, committee member representing the dissidents of the party, said they might initiate the investigation process tomorrow after finalising the modalities. The central working committee (CWC) meeting on June 9 had constituted a seven-member investigation committee to verify the authenticity of the 527 signatories within 15 days. The seven-member committee under the coordination of the newly-nominated party general secretary Deepak Bohara has started cracking with three members from either side. Party spokesperson Roshan Karki, Bhuwan Pathak and Jagat Gauchan represent the dissidents while Dhruba Bahadur Pradhan, Narendra Chaudary and Dilip Rai represent the party, per se. It may be recalled that the RPP dissidents have announced the dates for holding the party’s general convention on July 13 and 14.
