Kathmandu, February 29:

Singing nun Ani Choying Dolma today donated Rs 1.6 million to the National Kidney Centre. The Rotary International also handed over a cheque bearing Rs 304 million, which it had collected by organising a fund-raiser in the capital, to the kidney centre.

Ani handed over a cheque bearing Rs 1.6 million to Foreign Minister Sahana Pradhan at a conference on peace and democracy organised by the Rotary International in Kathmandu. Ani said she was handing over the money earned through the sale of copies of her biography written by a French national.
