KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Special Committee on Supervision, Integration and Rehabilitation (SCSIR) of former Maoist combatants is scheduled to be held in Singha Durbar on Tuesday at 5 pm.

The regular meeting of the committee was postponed on Sunday, due to the busy schedules of committee members and the official holiday on the occasion of the Holi festival.

According to sources, the meet will focus on the number of PLA fighters to be integrated in the Nepal Army and other security forces of the state.

It has been learnt that the agenda of the meet also includes a discussion about the Maoist leaders training for the PLA commanders in Shaktikhor, Chitwan recently. Despite the combatants being under the control of the special committee, UCPN-Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal imparted his political training to the PLA commanders in Chitwan.
