KATHMANDU: Foreign Secretary Shanker Das Bairagi held a meeting with Chinese Minister of Foreign Affairs Wang Yi at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Beijing on Monday.

During the meeting, the duo discussed bilateral relationship between the two countries, read a statement issued by the Embassy of Nepal.

On the occasion, Yi expressed his hope to see a peaceful, stable and prosperous Nepal while Bairagi thanked the people and the Government of China for their continued and generous support in Nepal's development effort.

Similarly, Bairagi also met Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs Kong Xuanyou.
