KATHMANDU: Property worth Rs 32.12 million was gutted in a fire in Narayantar, Jorpati of Gokarneshwor Municipality-13 on Sunday.

The fire broke out due to an electric short circuit and engulfed nine shops of furniture, fruits, vegetables, meat and clothes among others located at the complex.

The fire was doused by local people, fire brigade and police.
