KATHMANDU: A teen has been arrested in possession of a cache of pangolin scales, weighing around a kilogram and half, from Chaumati, KMC-15 of Kathmandu, on Wednesday.

Police identified the 16-year-old boy as Dawa from Nawalpur-6 of Sindhupalchok, currently residing in Chaumati.

He was arrested during a routine security check in the area.

Police said they are looking into the case.
