Six injured in as many Valley accidents
Kathmandu, August 8:
Altogether six persons were injured in six different accidents in the Valley yesterday evening, police said.
According to the police, a motorcyclist Bikes Adhikari was injured when a micro-bus hit the motorcycle he was riding yesterday at Balaju Chowk. Adhikari, a local of Balaju, is undergoing treatment at 24-hour Nursing Hospital at Balaju. Police has taken the micro-bus and the driver under control for necessary investigation is on.
At Balkhu, a pedestrian Nisha Musling was injured when a motorcycle rammed into her at Balkhu Chowk yesterday evening. Injured Nisha has been admitted to the Patan Hospital whereas driver and motorcycle have been taken under control, police said.
A six-year-old Manik Lama was injured when a micro-bus hits him at Tilingatar, Chakrapath yesterday evening.
Lama is undergoing treatment at the Kanti Children’s Hospital, Maharajgunj, whereas the driver and the micro-bus is under Traffic Police’s control, the police said.
A 25-year-old Mitra Dahal of Balkhu was injured when a motorcycle hits him at Khasibazaar, Balaju, yesterday evening. Dahal is undergoing treatment at the Patan Hospital whereas motorcyclist is under police custody, the police said.
In another separate incident a motorcyclist Shekhar Pun, 21, was injured when his motorcycle collided with a pushcart at Minbhawan Baneswor, Kathmandu yesterday evening. He is undergoing treatment at the Bir Hospital.
