KATHMANDU: A socket bomb was found in Maharajgunj, KMC-3 on Monday.

A Nepal Police team had found the explosive at Chappal Karkhana, Maharajgunj, after members of the public reported that they found some suspicious objects.

The police team defused the bomb on the spot.

Further investigation is underway.
