South Korean woman collapses to death

KATHMANDU: A South Korean woman, currently residing in Ekantakuna of Kathmandu, collapsed to death on Friday.

Police said Kim Solie (27) had fallen unconscious while taking a bath in the bathroom of her apartment in Ekantakuna, LSMC-4.

She was rushed to the Alka Hospital, but breathed her last on the way, police added.

In another case, a 22-year-old woman also fell unconscious and died in Talchhikhel of Lalitpur on Saturday.

Kanchhi Sharma, a permanent resident of Chautara in Sindhupalchok district, had fallen unconscious at her rented room in Talchhikhel.

She also breathed her last while being rushed to the Alka Hospital, according to police.

Further investigation is underway.
