Students lock RPP office

Kathmandu, August 3:

A faction of the National Democratic Students’ Organisation (NDSO) today padlocked the central office

of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party demanding that the party authenticate the central ad-hoc committee elected through a national convention of the party.

“We have padlocked the party office demanding an end to the meddling with the students’ decision,” said NDSO president Dhruba Bahadur Rayamajhi.

Rayamajhi claimed that the national gathering held on July 24 and 25 had elected a 25-member central ad-hoc committee under his leadership. He had nominated five more members to the 41-member central committee. However, the mother party today formed another panel under the leadership of Yubaraj Ghimire.
