Students manhandle TU VC, rector
KATHMANDU: Students wing of Unified Communist party of Nepal ANNISU-R manhandled Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr.Madhav Sharma and Rector Prof. Dr. Surya Lal Amatya of Tribhuvan University in the university premises on Wednesday afternoon.
ANNISU-R students rubbed soot on their faces. Both of them were emerging from CERID Hall after attending a meeting with the ambassador of Columbia.
About 22 students have been accused and taken into the custody.
ANNISU-R has been protesting the examination fee hike.
