Kathmandu, January 31:

Minister without portfolio Sujata Koirala today turned down a request by the Women MPs’ Society to clarify her stance on reviving the 1990 constitution for the third time in the past

four days.

Lawmaker and member of the Society Sushila Nepal said they were meeting in a day or two to denounce her denial despite the repeated summons by the Society.

A meeting of the Society held at the parliament, however, could not reach a conclusion whether to condemn her absence for the third time owing to differences among the women lawmakers.
