Supreme Court dissolves civil, criminal benches of 7 districts
KATHMANDU: The Supreme Court on Wednesday decided to dissolve benches set up in seven districts to particularly deal with civil and criminal cases, to be effective from July 16.
A full court meeting of the SC presided over by Acting Chief Justice Sushila Karki made the decision to this effect, according to SC Co-spokesperson Bishwaraj Paudel.
The benches of Siraha, Chitwan, Kaski, Kapilvastu, Morang, Banke and Kathmandu districts would be dissolved with the decision.
The decision would be effective till another decision to effect otherwise.
