KATHMANDU: After three hours of continuous effort, four fire engines along with security agencies and locals doused fire that broke out at hymn spot near Swayambhunath Stupa in KMC-15 this evening.

No human casualty has been reported so far.

Talking to THT Online over the phone, official at the Swayambhu Metropolitan Police Circle said the inferno sparked around 7 pm. It was contained after three hours of vigorous effort.

However, he declined to specify reason behind the incident, citing an investigation is underway.
