KATHMANDU: Property worth of Rs.100,000 was destroyed after a sweet factory caught fire in Bishalnagar, KMC-4 on Wednesday.

The factory of Anmol  Sweets had caught fire due to the short circuit, police said.

The factory was operated by Sanjaya Giri and Krishna Agrawal.

Later, the fire was extinguished with the help of fire brigade and locals.
