Kathmandu, November 17:

Police recovered body of a former Swiss pilot Hardy G J Furer from a rented apartment at Nayabasti Bouddha Tusal of Kathmandu Metropolitan City-6 yesterday.

The body of the Swiss, in his early sixties, was found at his residence at around 7:30 am yesterday morning.

Furer had been renting rooms at the four-storey house belonging to Shalikram Pudasaini since last Shrawan and was undergoing treatment.

His passport had reportedly been submitted at the foreign ministry for visa renewal.

His body was sent to Tribhuvan Univeristy teaching hospital for post mortem yesterday afternoon.
