KATHMANDU: Locals of Tokha in Kathmandu set a water tanker on fire to protest the killing of a 12-year old in an accident at Tokha on Friday. The water tanker knocked Buddha Joshi to death at Tokha, when he was about to cross the road. The locals are demanding that the bereaved family be paid Rs 1 million as compensation. Ashok Chaudhary, the driver of the tanker, has been arrested, Shuhil Bhandari, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Metropolitan Police Circle, Maharajgunj, said. The area remained tense till late in the evening.
