KATHMANDU: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) on Sunday formed a seven-member sub-committee to make an inquiry into alleged irregularities in the distribution of teachers’ quota in various districts across the country. Talking to The Himalayan Times, Som Bahadur Thapa, secretary, PAC said the move came after a flurry of complaints started pouring in from the CA members from various districts that instead of providing teachers quota on the basis of students-teacher ratio, it was being bought and sold in the districts.
