KATHMANDU: Property worth around Rs 109,000 were stolen from a room in Ranibu of Lalitpur Metropolitan City-14 of Lalitpur district on Friday, said police.

According to police, an unidentified gang entered the unlocked and unattended rented room of Goma Katawal (30) and made off with various jewelleries, a mobile set and Rs 15,000 cash yesterday.

Meanwhile, further investigation into the case is underway and search is on for the burglars, said police.
