KATHMANDU: Police said four theft cases were reported to them from Baneshwar area and Samakhusi in the Kathmandu Valley.

Unidentified persons broke into unattended rooms in all the cases and decamped with valuables, according to police.

Properties worth Rs 3,45,000 including gold and silver ornaments, were reportedly stolen from a house in Milanchokof KMC-34  yesterday.

Likewise, estimated Rs 281,000 cash, gold jewellery, laptop and other valuables were stolen from two houses in Purano Baneshwor.

Moreover, gold ornaments and valuables worth Rs 180,000 were stolen from a house in Samakhusi.
