KATHMANDU: A burglar was caught red-handed by a house owner at Setopul, Baneshwor of the Capital on Thursday, police said.

The burglar, Raj Kumar Pariyar (24) from Melamchi-9 of Sindhupalchok district, currently living at Sukumbashi Basti in Shantinagar, broke into an unattended four-storey house through an open window on the second floor yesterday.

The house owner Mukunda Nakarmi had caught him red-handed and called the police.

Further investigation is underway, informed the police.
