KATHMANDU: Police said property worth Rs 156,250 was stolen from two rented rooms of a house in Subidhanagar, KMC-35, on Wednesday.

An unidentified gang barged into the two rented rooms and decamped with a mobile set, a wrist watch, a silver chain necklace and Rs 20,000 cash from Prashant Shahi's room.

Similarly, a wrist watch and USD 300 were allegedly stolen from Pravin Shahi's room.

Meanwhile, police said they are searching the absconding suspects and looking into the case.
