KATHMANDU: Nepal Police's Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) arrested three persons in possession of brown heroin from Kalanki, KMC-14 on Monday.

Police identified the arrestees as Amit Gurung (19) and Jeevan Malla (17) of Banke district, and Manish Shahi (25) of Bhotebahal, Kathmandu, police said.

Police confiscated the contraband wrapped in plastic and hidden inside one of the shoes that Malla was wearing.

Quantity of the contraband, however, has not been disclosed.

Further investigation into the case is underway, police added.
