Three-member talk team formed to negotiate with KC
KATHMANDU: The government has formed a three- member high level talks team to address the demands of Govinda KC permanently.
KC is on a fast-unto death strike demanding the implementation of the past agreements that the government made with KC.
A meeting of the Council of Ministers held at the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers on Thursday formed the team under the coordination of Secretary of the Education Ministry has been formed where secretaries of Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and Health Ministry are the members, informed Spokesperson of the government, Gyanendra Bahadur Karki.
Meanwhile, the meeting also decided to distribute ID cards to 391,831 poor households in the country.
Identity cards would be distributed to the households in 25 districts. Details of 1.2 million households were collected as per the poor households, identity card management and distribution guidelines, said Karki, who is also the Minister for Finance.
