KATHMANDU: Three mineral water industries have been sealed and their products banned after authorities found out that they failed to meet the requirement to display the producer’s name and licence number in their products.

A market monitoring team deployed from the Department of Food Technology and Quality Control (DFTQC) and the Balaju-based Metropolitan Police Circle sealed Samul Group Industries Pvt Ltd, Crystal Aqua Service Pvt Ltd and Aqua Star Mineral Water Udyog in Manamaiju on the outskirts of Kathmandu today.

The DFTQC said it will continue monitoring the mineral water industries.
