Tipper hit injures motorcyclists in separate accidents

KATHMANDU: A man got injured after a motorcycle he was riding on got hit by a tipper at Tokha-10 in Kathmandu on Monday.

The injured has been identified as Niwan Maharjan (21) of Tokha-6, informed police.

According to police, Maharjan was injured when the tipper (Na 3 Kha 9804) hit his motorcycle (Ba 39 Pa 5359) at around 8:45 pm last night.

He is being treated at the Green City Hospital in Basundhara.

Meanwhile, another motorcyclist Arjun Thapa (44) of Tukucha in Kavrepalanchok got injured after he was hit by another tipper at Banepa-6 in the district on Monday.

According to police, Thapa was injured when the tipper (Ba 4 Kha 7061) hit his two-wheeler (Ba 40 Pa 6461) at around 7 pm yesterday.

He is being treated at the B&B Hospital in Gwarko.

Police have arrested the drivers along with the tippers.
