LALITPUR: Police recently arrested a man on charge selling cooking gas at a higher rate than the market price at Handigaun in Godawari Municipality-10.

The suspect has been identified as Raj Maharjan, operator of the Muna Utensil Shop.

Acting on a tip-off, a police team deployed from the Badegaun Police Station carried out a raid at the Maharjan's shop and confiscated 23 cooking gas cylinders and 20 litres of petrol.

Police said that they are looking into the case.
