KATHMANDU: The Truth and Reconciliation Commission has started preliminary investigation into complaints received from the victims of the decade-long Maoist insurgency.

TRC member Madhabi Bhatta informed that during the preliminary investigation the genuineness of complaints would be assessed.

TRC had started receiving complaints from the conflict victims from April 17 and so far it has collected over 7,000 complaints.
