KATHMANDU: A short but powerful tremor was felt in various areas of Kathmandu at 8:34 pm on Saturday.

According to a National Seismological Centre official, the epicentre of the 4ML quake was somewhere around Kirtipur in south Kathmandu.

Many valley residents who had experienced the ground-shake quickly took to social media to talk about the same.
