KATHMANDU: A man died and two others were critically injured after a truck (Ba 3 Kha 710) hit a motor bike (Ba 34 Pa 7883) they were riding on in Golfutar of Budhanilkantha-3 on Monday.

The deceased has been identified as biker Amir Ghimire (21) of Chapali, Budhanilkantha-3 and injured as Rajendra Ghimire (26) and Munak Ghimire (14) of the same municipality.

Amir, who was critically injured in the incident, breathed his last while being rushed to the Maharajgunj-based Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, police said.

Rajendra and Munak were riding pillion when the incident occured.

They are receiving treatment at the same hospital.

Police said that they have impounded the truck and arrested its driver for investigation.
