TSC to conduct exam as scheduled
Kathmandu, March 26
Teacher Service Commission has said it will conduct the teachers’ examination for permanent posts on the scheduled date.
The date for the examination has already been postponed twice due to natural calamities and various forms of agitation launched by disgruntled temporary teachers. “Preparation for the examination has almost completed and there will be no more postponement,” said Tana Gautam, chief of Teachers Service Commission.
“We have already fixed the date for examination and we are not in a mood to postpone it for whatsoever reason,” he added.
TSC has already fixed exam centres and has started dispatching question papers to exam centres.
TSC also informed that 22,076 temporary teachers are taking the examination for permanent posts.
While many temporary teachers are on hunger strike demanding that the examination be cancelled, TSC is adamant about conducting the examination on the scheduled date at any cost.
