KATHMANDU: Police said they arrested two Turkish nationals from the Tribhuvan International Airport on charge of trying to smuggle three antelope horns to their nation.

The suspects have been identified as Maharam Murja (Passport number: U 02279791) and Kabuljaxi Murja* (Passport number: U 02290195).

They were about to board a Turkish Airlines flight to Istanbul from Nepal's only international airport, according to police.

The suspects were nabbed after police found the suspicious materials in their bags during the hold baggage checking today.

Meanwhile, the suspects have been sent to the Kathmandu District Forests Office for further investigation.
