KATHMANDU: The Office of the Dean, Institute of Medicine, Tribhuvan University, has expressed concerns over the reports of its officials' involvement in irregularities and
accepting bribes while conducting the entrance examination for medical courses. Issuing a press statement on Monday, the office of the Dean maintained that the examination board had prepared the questions only a day ahead of the examination. It has accused Dr Ram Prasad Upreti, chief, Maharajgunj Medical Campus, of not attending the
meeting he was invited to and of inciting examinees to not participate in the examination by presenting himself in the examination venue. The office of the Dean has also expressed readiness to clear any misunderstandings regarding the row through dialogue.
