Two drug stores in Chhetrapati sealed for 'non-cooperation'
KATHMANDU: A government monitoring committee today sealed two drug stores based at Chhetrapati for not cooperating with an inspection team that reached there.
The team from the Ministry of Supplies sealed Bajhgain Medical Suppliers and Ikhapukhu Distributors.
The inspection team has also directed the store operators to be presented before the respective authority within 24 hours, informed Shree Prasad Adhikari, an official of the monitoring team.
The monitoring team has found that most of the drug stores in the area were running with expired licences. The team also found expired medicines in their shelves.
Government authorities of late have intensified the monitoring activities in the market.
