Two held for bike theft from Kuleshwor

KATHMANDU: Police on Saturday arrested two youth for their alleged involvement in stealing a parked motorbike in Kuleshwor of Kathmandu.

The suspects have been identified as Suraj Bhusal (23) and Surendra Bhusal (19), currently residing in Bhatkeko Pati, Kirtipur-12.

They were arrested with the two-wheeler (Ba 74 Pa 6547), which they had allegedly stolen from the parking lot in  front of the Suryodaya Pharmacy, KMC-13 yesterday.

In another similar case, a 20-year-old person was arrested for his suspected involvement in stealing valuables worth Rs 84,000 from a rented room in Manamaiju, Tarakeshwor-20 of Kathmandu.

A one-tola gold chain, a mobile phone and Rs 20,000 cash were stolen from the rented room of Sabitri Pathak today.

Yet, in another case, a person was caught by a house owner while the former was allegedly breaking a steel cupboard for theft in Sirjana Chok of Chandragiri-18 in Kathmandu.

Saroj Gurung was allegedly opening the cupboard with a wrench and a screwdriver on the second floor of the house owned by Kedar Giri.

Giri had handed him over to police later.

Local police are investigating into all the cases.
