KATHMANDU: Police said they arrested two persons in possession of five kilogram hashish from Pakanajol, KMC-16 on Saturday.

Narayan Prasad Khanal (31) from Chigaudi-5 of Dailekh and Chitra Bahadur Tamang (29) from Bhumesthan-3 of Dhading were held in possession of a bag containing the contraband, police said.

Khanal and Tamang were currently residing in Swayambhu and Thankot of the Capital respectively.

Further investigation is underway, police said.
