KATHMANDU: Two persons were arrested on charge of physically assaulting a 27-year-old youth who was residing at a guest house in Tokha.

The suspects, identified as Saroj Danuwar (26) of Kavre and Kumar Danuwar (22) of Sindhupalchok, had beaten Toofan Rokka Magar, a permanent resident of Thawing-9, Rolpa, black and blue.

Magar had come to the Capital to make a  new passport and was staying at Thapangi Guest House in Tokha.

Seriously injured in the incident, he has been taken to the Tokha-based Green City Hospital for treatment, according to police.

The reason behind the attack is yet to be known.
