KATHMANDU: Police arrested two persons in possession of various controlled drugs from Kaldhara Chok in Nayabazaar, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-16 on Monday.

The arrestees have been identified as Binod Shah (38) and Monika Shrestha (30) of Dallu, KMC-15.

Police confiscated various quantities of diazepam, morphine and phenazone from their possession.

A team of police deployed from the Metropolitan Police Circle, Lainchaur arrested them based on a tip-off about transaction of the controlled drugs there.
