Kathmandu, March 19:

Nepal has presented two leopard cubs to German as a gift, officials at the Department of National Park and Wildlife Conservation informed this daily today.

Kanchi, one-and-a-half-year-old female cub and Bhygya, three-year-old male were flown to Vienna by Austrian Airlines at 2.30 am today.

Kanchhi was taken from the Royal Bardia National Park while Bhagya used to reside at the Royal Chitwan National Park.

Both the cubs were orphans, according to wildlife experts.
