KATHMANDU: Police reported two cases of theft in Kathmandu on Thursday and Friday.

Property worth Rs 370,000 including Rs 82,000 cash, three tola gold ornaments, a laptop and a mobile set was stolen from the house of Chandra Mani Pandey in Thamel of Kathmandu.

The incident took place on Thursday night while the burgled room in the second floor was left open, police said.

In another similar case, an unidentified gang of thieves barged into the rented room of Sagar Kandel from Biduwa of Baglung, in Bhrikutitol, Banasthali, KMC-16.

The gang stole two iPhones, a Samsung Galaxy phone, a laptop and Rs 1,400, collectively worth Rs 176,000 on Friday, police said.

While looking for the suspects, police are investigating into the case.
