Allies of Maoist-led alliance to take part in CA meet

KATHMANDU: The allies of the Federal Democratic Alliance, led by the UCPN-Maoist, has decided to participate in the Constituent Assembly meeting from today.

Thirteen parties, out of 18 parties in the alliance, held a meeting and concluded that the 16-point agreement reached among the four parties to resolve the contentious issues of new constitution has ensured the promulgation of a new constitution from CA, said Prem Bahadur Singh, who is spokesperson of the FDRA.

The FDRA, which  has been boycotting the CA meeting since January 19, 2015, decided to accept the agreement as a historic document.
